Teacher and Student Modes

• MimioMobile app supports features for both teachers and students.

Teacher Control

• Allows teacher to control computer desktop.

Teacher Classroom Management

• Allows teacher to pass control to an active MimioPad tablet or mobile device running the MimioMobile application.
• Teacher can unilaterally retake control.

Student Collaborative Tools

• Allows multiple student devices to work simultaneously on a MimioStudio activity, with the work displayed at the front of the classroom.
• MimioStudio Collaborate feature works seamlessly with any mix of new MimioPad tablets and mobile devices running the MimioMobile app.
• When the Collaborate feature is being used, the material shown on the interactive whiteboard is replicated on the students’ mobile devices, so they don’t need to look at the board.

Assessment

• Allows teachers to create vote questions that require numeric, short-answer, multiple-choice, or short-essay responses.
• Open-ended response questions help students practice for the upcoming Common Core Assessments.
• Students may use any combination of MimioVote handsets and mobile Android and Apple devices running the MimioMobile app.

Interoperability

• Android and Apple devices running the MimioMobile app can work simultaneously and seamlessly with MimioPad and MimioVote hardware.

Ease and Security of Connection

• Turns the usually complex and time-consuming process of connecting multiple devices into an instantaneous point-and-click.
• Connection is secure and less support is required.

• Quick access to up to 16 commonly used MimioStudio Tools.
• Familiar MimioStudio icons shorten the learning curve.
